Every day, people across the world are making a difference in HIV through innovative uses of data. From research highlighting correlations between HIV risk and social media conversation, to localized testing and care programs to serve unmet needs, AIDSVu’s big data visualizations are used by students, community health workers, academics, researchers, and government officials to identify resource gaps, expand HIV research, and target HIV prevention resources where they are needed most.
Now, you can share your story about how you have used AIDSVu’s maps and data to address the HIV epidemic – whether in your community, nationally, or globally. Take a photo, send an abstract or publication, or tell us your personal narrative. If you’ve used AIDSVu data to create side-by-side or overlay map comparisons that are helping to change the course of the epidemic, share them with us! The most innovative submissions will be featured on AIDSVu and shared over social media.
