World AIDS Day 2023

November 30, 2023

For World AIDS Day 2023, AIDSVu pays tribute to those we have lost to HIV and commits to act alongside our partners to improve HIV prevention, treatment, and care efforts.

The federal theme for this year’s World AIDS Day, “Remember and Commit,” serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility to act against HIV and honors those who have lost their lives to the epidemic, which has had a profound impact across the globe. Remembering those we have lost not only pays tribute to their memory but also highlights the urgency of our commitment to ending the HIV epidemic.

This history reminds us to make a difference, whether through working to improve health equity, promoting scientific education and awareness, or supporting organizations that work tirelessly to serve those impacted by HIV.
