Today, AIDSVu is excited to unveil a new national HIV prevention services locator, further expanding the resources available on the site. For the first time, users will be able to easily search and find nearby HIV prevention services directly from AIDSVu, in addition to the existing locators for HIV Testing and Care Services.
AIDSVu.org is an inaugural launch site for the Powered by Emory University PrEPLocator.org, a searchable database developed by Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health with support from M•A•C AIDS Fund. The tool allows users to find HIV prevention services in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. The Locator database is largely built on information compiled from publicly available sources and will be updated on an ongoing basis. An open source tool, the Locator database and map-based widget are easily accessible to allow distribution through your own organizational websites and mobile apps.
As AIDSVu continues to expand its resources, we are pleased to take another step forward with the addition of this latest HIV prevention tool. Visit AIDSVu.org/Prevention to find out more or to add the locator to your website.
