Each February, AIDSVu recognizes the disparate impact of HIV on African Americans on National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. In the United States, African Americans continue to bear the greatest burden of the HIV epidemic, accounting for 44% of all new HIV diagnoses.
AIDSVu visualizes the latest HIV data across the U.S., raising awareness of the geographies and populations most at risk. Understanding your risk is just part of the battle, but only you have the power to stop the spread of HIV. Do your part to prevent HIV, and take action:
